Everything I’ve done in life has been in service of creating exceptional hospitality, a purpose cemented over eight years in Nicaragua, building and operating my hotel, Maderas Village.
This was a front-row education in hospitality in the real world, how guests actually use spaces, how community forms, and how the nuance of service, design and vibe shapes memory.
Hosting 50 at dinner night after night led to an instinctive understanding of service and what modern travellers seek: warmth, detail, personalisation over traditional formality.
My formal training was in commercial real estate and development in Toronto, across office, retail, and industrial transactions totalling over $500m.
I know how capital behaves, how deals succeed or fail, and how to stay disciplined when the story is exciting but the fundamentals are not.
Since moving to Lisbon, I’ve advised investors and founders on hospitality and real estate projects with a total investment value of €350m, from early concept through to execution. I live & work in Anjos with my fiancée, three dogs and baby daughter.

Hospitality is all I’ve ever known. Still today, delighting others lights me up. I cut my teeth in operations in London. Specifically, development and launches with brands including Soho House.
Since 2015 I’ve been working with hospitality companies of all shapes and sizes in the UK, Europe, the US and Asia: creating concepts, building brands and designing experiences.
Engagements have included fractional roles with high street branded operators, strategic advisory and concept creation for global hotel groups and projects with boutique hotels and members’ clubs.
Today, I work from my home in Mallorca, living a simpler and more grounded life than would have ever been possible in the city.
Whether on the island on the road, I’m inspired by life connected to natural and urban landscapes, and motivated by how hospitality has the power to offer human and cultural connection to a world that needs both more than ever.
My personal journey equips me, I hope, with key insights and knowledge that’s as relevant to the hospitality zeitgeist as they are to ambitious founders with demanding businesses.
